Rake Rakhan Har of life

Language is magic, power, intention and conexion. Language can elevate us, join us, but also can cause the opposite effect. It all depends of how we use it. Language becomes from a thought, and thought comes from a feeling. This is why Yoda once said: “Fear is the path to the dark side” because the path we take is determined by a deep feeling.

After a hard time in my life, around 2005, I started meditating with Vera de Khon. Deep in her house, I found peace – something I’ve never felt before.

Time passed and I discovered Kundalini Yoga and, along with the philosophy, a series of exercises and mantras. This particular technology has given me a knowledge a bit hard to express with words. At a local yoga center called Siri Prem, I discovered how the powerful and creative energy of the universe holds me and us. This has been the most important part of my life process.

Another important part of my life has been the practice of singing. Sound is the way a human being is capable to connect with the infinite because sound uses the same wave that runs through the whole universe. This is why music is the universal language. Each one of us can use music to create an ambiance or to enter into a state of mind. Ludwig van Beethoven said that music works as hypnotism, it is the only art that recreate the mind and the feeling of the author inside the listener.

Mantras, on the other hand, are sound creations that evoque a meditative state in the human being. It is because of it’s sound origin that has become my favorite way to meditate. It helps me to stay focus and conscious during a practice. I have been using it in a very frequent way lately.

Today, I want to share with you one of these mantras through an illustration. This one is the favorite around my home. It gives us protection and harmony.  It has also stayed around my mind for a long time until it came out in a form of graphic.

If you would like to practice it, please go to this website where you can find all the information about mantras. I highly recommend: www.kundalinihoy.com

It is also recommended to chant every mantra for at least 11 minutes each day. It is exactly the time I practice every day.

I hope you enjoy it and, if you haven’t experienced the power of this spiritual practices yet, please try. You will never be the same after one.
